'Text message made fools of Cabinet on April 1'

Hours before the clock struck 12 midnight April 1st, abs-cbnNEWS.com got a text message saying that a Cabinet revamp will happen in the next few weeks.
Armed Forces chief Gen. Hermogenes Esperon, the message said, will be the new defense secretary following his retirement on May 9.
Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro, meanwhile, will become the new interior and local government secretary.
Ronaldo Puno, current interior chief, is set to become the new executive secretary in place of Eduardo Ermita, who will step in as chairman of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
Reports about a scheduled Cabinet revamp has been circulating in Malacañang, especially now that the one-year ban against appointing those who lost in the May elections last year is about to end.
But as ABS-CBN News asked around the Palace Tuesday, officials said the text message that spread was all empty talk.
Secretary to the Cabinet Ricardo Saludo said: Has it been reported that Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck will become the administration's presidential and vice-presidential contenders in 2010?
