Philippines' AirAsia Inc. on Saturday launched its first Clark to Singapore flight, the carrier said in a statement.
The maiden flight left Clark International Airport at 6:10 a.m. and arrived at Changi Airport at 9:40 a.m.
The new route will be utilized daily, AirAsia said.
"Singapore is an attractive destination for Filipinos and AirAsia will make it even more attractive for our guests with our super low promo fares, reliable and on time service," Freddy Herrera, AirAsia's head for commercial, said in the statement.
"AirAsia’s daily routes to Singapore cater to the growing demand for both business and leisure travel, and equally important, this new route will provide low cost, high value service for our OFWs in Singapore so they can come home and reunite with their families as often as possible," he added.
