NSCB revises Q2 GDP upward to 6%

MANILA, Philippines - The National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) on Tuesday revised the second-quarter gross domestic product growth upward.

The country's second-quarter GDP growth was hiked to 6% from a preliminary 5.9% announced August, according to an NSCB announcement.

The government agency, however, did not provide any explanation for the revision.

Third quarter GDP is set to be released on Wednesday.
