MANILA, Philippines - Budget carrier AirAsia on Friday said it will add more regional flights from Clark International Airport.
The airline said it will add new daily flights to Taipei, Singapore and three more flights to Hong Kong starting December 15.
"We are adding Singapore and Taipei to our red hot regional destinations with daily flights commencing December 15 and 16 respectively. We are also adding an extra three times a week evening flights to Hong Kong on top of our daily morning flights,” Freddy Herrera, AirAsia Inc. Commercial Head said in a statement.
AirAsia will be the only airline operating daily flights from Clark to Taipei. The flights depart Clark at 12:05 p.m. and arrive in Taipei at 2 p.m.
The airline will also start Clark-Singapore flights on December 15 with daily flights departing at 6:10 a.m. and arriving Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 9:40 a.m.
AirAsia is offering an all-in, one way promo fare from as low as P888 for Clark-Taipei and from as low as P1,699 for Clark-Singapore. All promo fares are available for booking on AirAsia’s website www.airasia.com until November 25. The travel period will be from December 15 – September 30 2013.
AirAsia said the new flights will cater to overseas Filipino workers who live in northern Luzon.
"We have tens of thousands of Filipino workers in Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong and a number of them are from the provinces between Bulacan, Pampanga and the Ilocos region who will benefit from our super low fares and newest routes,” Herrera said.
AirAsia also flies daily to Kuala Lumpur, Kalibo (Boracay) and 4x a week or every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to Davao.
