MANILA, Philippines - Changes in Tanduay Holdings, Inc.'s corporate name and stock symbol will reflect on the stock exchange starting Nov. 20.

In a circular, the Philippine Stock Exchange advised the public it has approved the change of corporate name to LT Group, Inc. and stock symbol to LTG (from TDY).

The Lucio Tan-led firm last month sought for regulatory approvals for the change in its name to reflect its change from a liquor maker to a holding firm to consolidate Tan's other assets: Fortune Tobacco Corp., Asia Brewery, Inc., Paramount LandEquities, Inc. and Saturn Holdings, Inc.

Philippine Airlines and budget carrier AirPhil Express were not included in the new holding company, as previously planned. Both airlines are currently under the management of San Miguel Corp.
