The government has declared November 13-15 as non-working days in the capital and nearby provinces as Asian and Western economic leaders meet in the Philippines for the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and related meetings.
Despite the non-working day declaration for Metro Manila and nearby provinces, several banks will continue operating. Here is a list of bank schedules for next week.
BDO UNIBANK INC.:
Almost all its mall and non-mall branches will be open to serve the public. However, its Roxas Boulevard-Salas Branch is closed on November 13; and its EDSA-POEA Branch is closed from November 13 to 15.
CHINA BANKING CORP:
Only three branches are closed from November 13 to 15:
Macapagal Ave. Aseana in Paranaque City;
Macapagal Ave. Biopolis in Pasay City; and
Solemare in Paranaque City
Most of its branches in Metro Manila, Pampanga and Bulacan are open during the ASEAN Summit.
PHILIPPINE SAVINGS BANK:
All branches will be ready to serve clients and the general public from Monday to Wednesday next week.
BANK OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS:
Most BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank branches are open next week during the ASEAN Summit.

In an advisory on its website, the bank said that only its branches in Aseana City, Roxas Boulevard; Pasay Macapagal Avenue; Clark-Angeles and Clark-Medical City are closed on November 13. Only selected branches will be opened from November 14 and 15.
Most RCBC branches nationwide, including those across Metro Manila, Bulacan and Pampanga, will be open to serve its clients except for branches located near restricted areas.

Meanwhile, all branches and lending centers of the consumer banking arm of RCBC, RCBC Savings Bank, will be open for the duration of the ASEAN summit.
