|Finance Undersecretary Rosalia de Leon took her oath as the new National Treasurer
MANILA, Philippines - Finance Undersecretary Rosalia de Leon on Friday took her oath as the new National Treasurer, replacing Roberto Tan who took post as an Executive Director at World Bank earlier this month.
In a statement, the Department of Finance said de Leon took her oath before Finance chief Cesar V. Purisima.
De Leon has served as the Undersecretary for the International Finance Group (IFG) since September 2010, Finance Secretary's chief-of-staff from July 2005 to June 2010, and officer-in-charge of the IFG from July 2007 to September 2010.
She has also served as an adviser to the Philippine Executive Director at the Asian Development Bank.
Finance Assistant Secretary Maria Edita Tan will serve as the IFG's officer-in-charge.
