MANILA - Emperador Inc, the world's largest brandy maker, said Tuesday net income in the third quarter grew 18 percent to P1.7 billion.
This brought net income in the January to September period to P4.4 billion, the company told the stock exchange without giving comparative figures.
Emperador said it recorded P9.5 billion in revenues in the third quarter, bringing the 9-month total to P27.6 billion.
Shares of Emperador were up 0.84 percent to P7.24 after the earnings figures were released.
Emperador owns Emperador Distillers, Inc., Scotch whisky maker Whyte and Mackay Group, and Bodegas Fundador in Spain.
