MANILA - Filipino companies have yet to tap the full potential of digital channels to grow their business, a marketing analyst said Tuesday.
With 33.4 million Facebook users in 2017, there is an "opportunity for growth" when it comes to digital marketing said David Abrenilla, CEO and founder of MediaComm Solutions.
"Platforms like Instagram and Facebook and so forth, they are highly undervalued compared to like billboard spaces which are very expensive," Abrenilla told ANC.
Micro, small and medium enterprises in particular should take advantage of the popular social media platforms to reach consumers, Abrenilla said.
"It is really important to understand your consumer market very well and be able to reach them through online marketing, there is much opportunity there," Abrenilla added.
