MANILA, Pilippines - Banks are making sure their ATMs are ready to serve customers during the long All-Saints Day and All-Souls' Day holiday weekend.
Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank) said it will ensure its ATMs will be loaded with sufficient cash to meet the requirements of customers during the long weekend. Metrobank said selected branches will be open nationwide from November 1 to 4.
At the same time, BDO said all of its branches will have regular working hours until Wednesday (October 31), but will be closed on November 1 and 2.
For November 3 and 4, BDO branches open during weekends will have regular banking hours.
Branches of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) will also be closed on November 1 and 2.
However, BPI said it is ready to handle withdrawal volumes, estimated to reach P1.4 billion, with its over 1,800 ATMs nationwide.
Customers who need to deposit cash to BPI accounts during the long weekend can use the bank's Express Deposit Machines. BPI kiosks at malls will be open on November 3 and 4.
