MANILA, Philippines - The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) remitted an additional P100 million in cash dividends to the Bureau of Treasury.

BCDA President and CEO Arnel Paciano D. Casanova said the P100 million is in addition to the P400 million in cash dividends and the P1.707 billion representing the share of government agencies from BCDA’s Asset Disposition Program (ADP) which were remitted to the National Treasury last June.

This brought the BCDA's total remittance to the National Treasury to P2.2 billion this year.

"The additional P100 million will play a significant role to bankroll the much needed programs and projects of the Aquino Administration towards inclusive growth," Casanova said.

The BCDA is one of the top Government-Owned and -Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) that remit P1-billion or more to the National Treasury.
