MANILA, Philippines - Tigerair Philippines is making it easier for tourists to visit Boracay, as it launched the Tiger Transfer service.
The Tiger Transfer service is offered to its passengers going to Boracay from Kalibo and vice-versa. Guests who purchase the transfer ticket online, onboard the flight or upon check-in, will only pay P500 for one-way transfer to Boracay.
Tiger Transfer service involves three steps: Step 1 is land transfer where guests disembarking at the Kalibo International Airport will be taken by the Tiger Transfer service to the jetty port. Step 2 is the VIP boat ride exclusive for Tigerair passengers who will be allowed to take the express lane at the jetty port straight to Boracay Island. Step 3 is the land transfer to the hotel of passenger’s choice.
"With the Tiger Transfer service, the passengers can get to the island paradise of Boracay in just three easy steps. It is our thrust in Tigerair Philippines to offer value-for-money services, something I am proud to say, is shown through our Tiger Transfer Service,” said Olive Ramos, president and CEO of Tigerair Philippines.
Tigerair Philippines has tapped the services of Southwest Tours Boracay Inc. under a specially-priced agreement.
Also, passengers of Tigerair Philippines may now pay in cash at any 7-11 branches nationwide.
Ramos said the service is targeted at customers who do not own credit cards. Upon booking online via www.tigerair.com, the customer will receive a booking reservation code to be presented to any 7-11 branches to facilitate the cash payment.
Tigerair Philippines is the first commercial airline to fly direct between Kalibo and Singapore. The carrier also flies to local destinations such as Clark, Bacolod, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, and Puerto Princesa, and international destinations such as Bangkok and Hong Kong.
