MANILA, Philippines - SM Prime Holdings, the country's leading mall developer and operator, is opening its 45th shopping mall in the country on Friday in General Santos, South Cotobato.

SM City General Santos, with a gross floor area of 95,764 square meters (sqm), located at San Miguel St., cor. Santiago Blvd., Lagao District, General Santos City.
The three-level mall is already 80% occupied with tenants, including SM Department Store, SM Supermarket, Toy Kingdom, Breadtalk, Congo Grille, Max's and Bench. It also has a food court, 4 cinemas and parking slots for 1,500 vehicles.
SM City General Santos is the fourth SM mall to be opened this year, following SM City Olongapo in Zambales, SM City Consolacion in Cebu, and SM City San Fernando in Pampanga.
SM Prime is scheduled to open SM City Lanang in Davao City, and SM Chongqing in China within the year.
