MANILA, Philippines - As part of its efforts to help those affected by the heavy monsoon rains and flooding, Petron will hold off any possible increases in its fuel products next week in Metro Manila, Bataan, Pampanga, Zambales, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Tarlac.

This is on top of the relief operations that the company is conducting, the oil firm said.

A total of 350 Petron gas stations nationwide continue to accept relief goods, such as used clothing, blankets, canned goods, and drinking water for flood victims.

To date, its relief operations have helped about 5,500 families in Marikina, Bataan, Bulacan and Manila.

The company, in coordination with the Corporate Network for Disaster Response and the Department of Social Welfare and Development, will conduct more relief operations in the next several days.
