MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) will bid out in October the proposed P4-billion integrated transport system (ITS) terminal in Taguig City.
The ITS-South Terminal, which will be located at the FTI compound, will connect passengers coming from Laguna and Batangas to other terminals in Metro Manila.
The DOTC is giving interested investors until October 6 to submit bids to finance, construct and operate the ITS South Terminal.
The public private partnership (PPP) project aims to provide a central terminal where different modes of transportation would be available. It will connect passengers to the proposed North-South commuter rail of the Philippine National Railways and other public utility vehicle terminals in Metro Manila.
The DOTC gave interested companies until August 30 to submit bids for the proposed P2.5 billion ITS-Southwest Terminal. The terminal will be located on a 2.9-hectare property along the Manila-Cavite Expressway.
