Oil firms to slash fuel prices

MANILA, Philippines – Oil companies announced on Monday that they will be slashing prices of fuel products on Tuesday.

Petron Corp. and Pilipinas Shell will roll back the price of gasoline by P1.20 per liter; diesel by P0.25 per liter; and kerosene by P0.20 per liter effective 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday.

Phoenix Petroleum, on the other hand, will cut prices of gasoline by P1.20 per liter and diesel by P0.25 per liter effective 6 a.m. on Tuesday. No price adjustment for kerosene was announced.

PTT will also reduce prices of gasoline by P1.20 per liter and diesel by P0.25 effective 12:01 a.m.
