MANILA, Philippines - Tiger Airways Philippines, a unit of Cebu Pacific, is launching new routes in the fourth quarter of this year.
Tigerair Philippines said it is launching its Manila to Davao and Manila to General Santos routes on November 28. It is also launching Cebu to Davao and Cebu to Cagayan de Oro flights on November 29.
The budget carrier is using an Airbus A320 for these routes.
It will also fly daily between Manila and Davao as well as five times a week between Manila and General Santos City.
To strengthen its Cebu hub, Tigerair Philippines will have flights twice a week between Cebu and Davao; and between Cebu and Cagayan de Oro.
Tigerair Philippines is scheduled to take the delivery of an additional Airbus A320 in December. It currently has an existing fleet of four A320 aircraft.
Leilani de Leon, Tigerair Philippines chief legal and corporate affairs, said the carrier now operates over 230 weekly flights to 10 domestic destinations and 1 international destination.
