Visa appoints new country manager for PH

MANILA, Philippines - Visa has appointed Stuart Tomlinson as its new country manager for the Philippines and Guam.

“I’m honored to be leading Visa’s team across the exciting and dynamic markets of the Philippines and Guam. The Philippines has one of the fastest growing economies in Asia-Pacific and I’m looking forward to working with our clients and partners to develop payment solutions that will further enhance the Filipino cardholder experience,” Tomlinson said.

He succeeds Iain Jamieson who is now Visa’s Country Manager for South Korea.

Tomlinson joined Visa in August 2000. Since then, he has held a number of roles in the company including Regional Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia, Regional Director for Processing Solutions, and Country Manager for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

Most recently he served as Visa’s Country Manager for Malaysia.
