MANILA - Clients of Banco de Oro (BDO) were not able to transact online and via automated teller machines (ATM) nationwide Sunday due to a system update.
The Sy-led BDO said clients were not able to do online and ATM transactions from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.
This is due to the bank's system and hardware updates.
BDO Corporate Communications' Honey Reyes earlier said the update will only affect debit card holders.
Cash card and credit card holders, on the other hand, were able to transact without any problems.
Problems in ATM and online transactions started Friday.
The bank's system went back to normal Saturday afternoon before problems were experienced again Sunday. -- report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
