MANILA, Philippines - Filipinos can look forward to more job opportunities, as four companies have committed to investing P2 trillion in the Philippines in the next 5 years, President Benigno Aquino said on Thursday.
With these investments, Aquino said more jobs are expected to be created in the country. He did not name the companies.
Actually four private companies have already committed to investing P2 trillion in the next five years."
Aquino said 1.1 million jobs were created last year but said more has to be done since a million Filipinos are added into the labor pool every year.
"Kumbaga ‘yung nagawa natin last year, tabla.
