MANILA, Philippines - ZestAir on Monday said it will soon launch flights to two new domestic destinations and four new international destinations.
The budget carrier made the announcement on Twitter, saying it will fly from Manila to Bacolod and Cagayan de Oro "soon."
ZestAir will also begin flights from Manila to Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, as well as Macau and Saigon.
However, the airline did not give an exact date when it will start these new flights.
In March, Philippines' AirAsia said it acquired 49% of ZestAir, owned by the family of Ambassador Alfredo Yao, forging what they called a "strategic partnership." In turn, ZestAir got a 15% stake in AirAsia.
Zest Air currently flies to 10 domestic and 10 international routes from its hubs in Manila, Kalibo and Cebu.
