MANILA -- Cebu Pacific on Friday announced additional flights to Hong Kong and Boracay as the carrier expects an increase in passengers this summer.
In a statement, the budget carrier said it will be adding four additional weekly flights between Manila and Kalibo this May, and it will also be re-introducing its daily Cebu to Kalibo service.
Manila to Hong Kong flights, meanwhile, have been increased to 59 weekly from 54, Cebu Pacific said.
The Gokongwei-led airline added that starting May 7, it will also increase flights on the following routes from Manila: Bacolod and Iloilo (daily); to Cotabato and General Santos (4 times weekly); to Davao (thrice weekly); and to San Jose in Mindoro (one weekly).
"We hope these additional flights will allow even more tourists and guests to have fun during their vacations and visits home," Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific's vice president for marketing and distribution, said in the statement.
The carrier will be launching its flights between Cebu and Masbate on June 1 and between Cebu and Taipei on July 5. Cebu Pacific will also be flying to Dubai from Manila starting October 7.
