MANILA, Philippines - Land Bank of the Philippines is looking at opening 10 new branches this year.
LandBank has already opened two branches so far, one in Carmen (Rosales) Pangasinan and another at the GSIS Headquarters Building in Pasay City.
The GSIS Branch services institutional and individual clients, particularly GSIS members and pensioners. The branch in Carmen is the bank's 8th in Pangasinan.
"We remain aggressive in expanding our network and bringing banking services closer to unbanked and underserved areas, in line with our continuing efforts towards greater financial inclusion,” said LandBank president and CEO Gilda E. Pico.
The additional branches will bring to 351 the total branches of LANDBANK nationwide. The bank also has 1,238 ATMs nationwide.
Recently, LandBank launched the LANDBANK Visa Debit Card in partnership with Visa Worldwide. Cardholders will be able to withdraw local currency from any of 2 million ATMs in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
