MANILA, Philippines - Delta Air Lines will move its operations to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in August.

In a statement, Delta said all its flights will depart and arrive at NAIA 3 starting August 1.

The airline currently operates from NAIA Terminal 1, which is now undergoing a much-needed rehabilitation.

"This exciting news is another big step for Delta as it has been improving the customer experience in the air and on the ground... We are delighted that our customers will benefit from the larger, more efficiently designed Terminal 3 from this summer," said Steven Crowdey, director – Philippines, Australia and Micronesia.

Delta said it will install more self-service check-in kiosks in NAIA 3's lobby to reduce the waiting time for customers.

Delta operates non-stop flights from Manila to Tokyo-Narita and to Nagoya-Centrair airports in Japan, where travelers can connect to its extensive network to and within the United States.
