MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) – Oil companies have announced that fuel prices will be slashed on Tuesday, March 18.
Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell and SEAOIL said effective 12:01 a.m., prices of its gasoline products will be rolled back by P0.30 per liter; diesel by P0.65 per liter; and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
The firms said the adjustments were made to reflect movements in the international market.
PTT Philippines and TOTAL also said that effective 12:01 a.m., prices of its diesel and gasoline products will be slashed by P0.65 per liter and P0.30 per liter, respectively.
Independent oil firm Eastern Petroleum said prices of all its gasoline products will be cut by P0.35 per liter while diesel will be slashed by P0.70 per liter effective 12:01 a.m.
Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, meanwhile, said prices of its diesel products will be cut by P0.65 per liter while prices of its gasoline products will decrease by P0.30 per liter effective 6 a.m.
