MANILA - Traffic-weary office workers now have the option to rent a small but conveniently located apartment in the capital, its developer said Wednesday.

Point Blue units range from 10 to 15 square meters, with monthly rent, inclusive of association dues, internet access and taxes ranging from P10,800 to P12,200. It targets young professionals 25 to 40 years old.

"Instead of having to commute 3 to 4 hours a day now they can just walk to work. They have a nice, modern space to live in," Point Blue CEO JR Yujuico told ANC' Early Edition.

To compensate for the size, Point Blue provides space-saving furniture, ample ventilation and sound insulation.

"It’s really not about size but providing this to tenants allows them to take more control of their life," he said.

Point Blue's target market has a lot of potential, in Makati alone, there are around 3 million commuters daily.
