MANILA, Philippines – AirAsia Zest launched on Wednesday new self check-in service kiosks at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4 (NAIA-4) and several provincial airports to cut passengers’ queuing time.
The red kiosks are located inside NAIA-4, Kalibo, Cebu, Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Puerto Princesa and open to passengers of domestic AirAsia Zest and Philippines AirAsia flights.
The new service allows guests to print their own boarding pass using a touchscreen computer.
“We are pleased to offer this free, simple and quick check-in service exclusive for our guests. As summer vacation draws near, many people will be travelling, our red kiosks will sure relieve them from long waiting times,” said AirAsia Zest executive vice president and chief operating officer Joy Caneba.
Caneba added that the airline will also be offering “more exciting services and products for mobile devices and online enhancement.”
On Monday, AirAsia Zest also announced that it will begin to provide land and ferry transfers to Boracay Island to its passengers arriving at the Kalibo International Airport.
The airline said its Boracay Island Transfer Service is now available on board AirAsia Zest flights between Manila and Kalibo for a one-way fee of P520 per person.
