Calum Chisholm takes over as new Intel Philppines country manager
MANILA, Philippines - Intel Philippines named Calum Chisholm as new country manager, replacing Ricardo Banaag who is retiring in April.

Banaag, who has been with Intel for 16 years, decided to take early retirement effective April 2013.

"Ricky has done a great job as Intel’s country manager and will leave our business in the Philippines in a strong position. The Philippines continues to be one of Intel’s key growth opportunities in Asia Pacific and globally. Ricky’s contributions to our future success will be missed," said Uday Marty, Managing Director, SE Asia.

"At the same time, I am very pleased to welcome Calum to the role. I have great confidence in his ability to maintain strong performance in this vital market."

A native of Great Britain, Chisholm will take over Intel Philippines’ sales and marketing operations.

As Intel OEM global marketing manager, Chisholm was responsible for creating marketing strategies that showcase Intel technology and brand value within OEM solutions.

Chisholm was named temporary country manager for the Philippines in 2011, as part of Intel’s unique rotation program. He handled the Philippine market for three months.

Chisholm joined Intel as product marketing engineer in 1996, and has since worked across Europe, Africa and Asia on the OEM business.
