MANILA, Philippines – Ayala Land Inc. on Wednesday opened its first medical facility in Trinoma mall in Quezon City together with the Mercado General Hospital Inc. (MGHI).

QualiMed, a satellite clinic located at the mall’s ground floor, offers medical services including cardiac, dental, pulmonary, and vaccination as well as diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.

QualiMed is first in the line of medical facilities to be built into Ayala Land’s mixed-use developments in the country.

“They will be launched in most of our major communities, starting with Nuvali, Atria Iloilo, North Point Negros, and Altaraza Bulacan. For greater accessibility, we will also have satellite clinics like this first one in Trinoma,” said Ayala Land president and chief executive Tony Aquino.

MGHI president Dr. Edwin Mercado, meanwhile, said the partnership with Ayala Land will allow them to “provide quality medical care to as many Filipinos as we can possibly reach.”

The QualilMed facilities in Iloilo, Bulacan, and Negros will be general hospitals with a capacity of more than 100 beds.

The facility in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, meanwhile, will have specialized services in sports medicine to cater to outdoor activities in the area.

The water sports facility Repub1c Wakepark is located in Nuvali.
