MANILA, Philippines - Jobsite Monster Philippines has introduced a "Contract Jobs" section for professional, contractual and temporary hiring in the country.
"Contract Jobs" allows employers to find a pool of talent looking for contractual employment, and jobseekers to look for companies that hire contract workers.
Sanjay Modi, managing director for Monster.com (India, Middle East, South East Asia), said the Philippines' economic growth has increased the demand for talent.
"Philippines’ economic growth trajectory has caused the demand for talent to outstrip the supply. In this context, contractual hiring has garnered greater acceptance amidst the uncertain business environment. Given the buoyancy of contractual and project hiring in the country, Monster Philippines’ new offering ‘Contract Jobs’ has been launched with the aim to address the needs of career minded professionals by providing them flexibility of tenure, learning on the job and a bridge to full employment," he said in a statement.
The Contract Jobs section will have opportunities for both professional and general contractual staffing.
There are also specialized sections, such as "Women on the go", which targets women who are looking at part-time, project-based and contractual employment due to maternity and family commitments that prevent them from working full time.
The "Career after Career" section is aimed at retired people who still want to work.
Jobseekers can have independent or add-on profile specifically for jobs in the "Contact Jobs" section.
Employers can post specific jobs for professional, contractual and temporary requirements.
Monster’s advanced search technology helps match contract employers with quality contract talent quickly and efficiently to help gain a competitive advantage in the workplace.
