Cebu Pacific's social media campaign, print ad win awards

MANILA, Philippines - Budget carrier Cebu Pacific won two awards at the Budgie$ and Travel Awards 2013 in Singapore last week.

Cebu Pacific's Juan for Fun Backpacker Challenge was named the Best Social Media Campaign, while its "Betcha Buy Bali Now"  ad was named Best Print Ad.

The Budgie$ and Travel Awards 2013 was part of the 2013 Low-Cost Airlines World Asia Pacific Conference in Singapore last week.

"Our social networking platforms and print ads continue to show just how fun traveling can be with Cebu Pacific. We are proud to represent the Philippines and its vibrant aviation industry in this year’s conference, which gathered LCCs in the Asia-Pacific region," said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

To celebrate the awards, Cebu Pacific is holding a select domestic and international seat sale from February 4 to 6 or until seats last.

Passengers can buy seats from P288 to P688 to select domestic destinations from Manila, including Bacolod, Boracay, Cagayan de Oro, Coron, Davao, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa and Tagbilaran. Travel period is from February 15 to April 3, 2013,

There are also P699 promo fares from Clark to Hong Kong, Macau or Singapore, for travel from February 15 to June 30, 2013.

Other international routes are also on sale as low as P899, for travel from March 15 to June 30, 2013. This includes all international flights from Cebu and Iloilo.
