MANILA, Philippines - Citi has been recognized as Best Foreign Commercial Bank for 2012 by magazine FinanceAsia for the 14th consecutive year.
FinanceAsia noted the bank's improved ranking in total assets, loans and deposits in the Philippines, Citi said in a statement.
"This award is a testament to our continuing commitment to serving the financial needs of our clients in the best way possible," Sanjiv Vohra, Citi country officer for the Philippines, said in the statement.
Citi said it has won the award since it was introduced by the magazine in 1998.
In addition, FinanceAsia named Citi as the best bank in Asia for 2012 and Best General Industries bank. Moreover, the bank has been given various awards such as Deal of the Year, Best Mid-Cap Equity Deal, Best M&A deal, Best Investment Grade Bond, and Best High Yield Bond.
