MANILA, Philippines - Alorica, a provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, has appointed Doug Almond as its new country manager for the Philippines.

Almond has more than 20 years of experience in business process outsourcing (BPO), particularly in strategic planning, client relationships, contact center operations, and business development.
He has managed large diverse teams in multiple call centers in the USA, Europe and Asia.
"Alorica recognizes the rapidly evolving and continued importance of the Philippines in supporting our client’s customers. We are uniquely positioned to continue to lead this growth by focusing on our operational efficiencies and competitive position,” said YC Liu, President, in a statement.
Liu said Almond's appointment will help strengthen its management team.
Based in Irvine, California, Alorica has over 20,000 employees in 40 domestic, near shore, and offshore customer management centers.
In the Philippines, Alorica offices are located in Makati City, Lipa Batangas and Cebu City.
