MANILA – Philippine Airlines said it will suspend its Cebu -
Singapore operations and increase the frequency of its Cebu - Bangkok route starting March 25.
In an advisory released last Friday, January 19, PAL said it will increase its Cebu-Bangkok flight frequency to daily from thrice a week as part of its route rationalization moves.
”The airline is seeking the understanding of its passengers in view of the inconvenience brought about by this latest development on their original travel plans,” the statement said.
Passengers with confirmed CEB-SIN and SIN-CEB flights from March 25 onward are allowed to rebook on CEB-MNL-SIN or SIN-MNL-CEB flights within 30 days from original flight date, with rebooking penalties and charges waived, PAL said.
They can also refund the cost of their tickets within 30 days from the original flight date without charges.
Meanwhile, daily flights between Cebu and Bangkok will also commence on March 25.
Flight PR738 leaves Cebu daily at 9:10 pm and arrives in Bangkok 12:10 am the following day. While PR739 departs from Bangkok daily at 1:30 am and touches down in Cebu at 6:30 am the following day.
