Oil companies announce fuel price rollback

MANILA, Philippines (3rd UPDATE) – Oil companies are reducing the prices of its pump products on Monday, January 21.

Unioil said its diesel prices will be decreased by 25 centavos per liter while its premium and unleaded gasoline will be slashed by 55 centavos per liter.

Petron, meanwhile, will implement a 45 cetavos per liter rollback in the prices of Blaze 100, XCS, and Xtra.

It will also slash the prices of Pinoy and regular gasoline by 55 centavos per liter, turbo diesel and diesel max by 25 centavos per liter and kerosene by 20 centavos per liter.

As for Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp will also slash the prices of their unleaded and premium gasoline by 45 centavos per liter, regular gasoline by 55 centavos per liter, kerosene by 20 centavos per liter and diesel by 25 centavos per liter.

Seaoil will also reduce the prices of its premium and unleaded gasolines by 45 centavos per liter, diesel by 25 centavos per liter, kerosene by 20 centavos per liter, and regular gasoline by 55 centavos per liter.

Unioil’s rollback will take effect at 6:01 a.m. while Petron, Seaoil and Shell will implement the price adjustments at 12:01 a.m.

The companies said the rollback reflects adjustments in the international oil market.
