MANILA, Philippines- Nacionalista Party (NP) spokesperson Robert "Ace" Barbers says Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is still part of the administration's ticket next year despite his public spat with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile and Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario.

Barbers believes Trillanes' differences with the 2 officials are not enough for him to be dropped from the slate.

The administration's ticket will be composed of candidates from Nacionalista, the Liberal Party, and the Nationalist People's Coalition, which will be signing a partnership agreement with the LP.

"Sa tiket walang epekto iyun. I believe walang epekto yun sa pagkakasama ng aming miyembro sa isang coalition with LP. That will not be a basis for him to be kicked out or expelled from the coalition," Barbers told "ANC Presents: Road to 2013."

"I strongly believe that. However siyempre yung kanyang position that he adopted, that he took on the issue is his position, not the position of the party. Being a member of the party, we respect his position," he added. - ANC
