Isolated rains expected over the weekend

MANILA, Philippines – Isolated rainshowers are expected in the coming days but weather in Metro Manila is expected to still be generally hot.

The continued effects of the ridge of high pressure area extending across Luzon will bring plenty of sunshine with temperatures playing between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius.

There's a big percentage that it's going to be raining during the wee hours of the morning on Friday.

But by Sunday, there’s only a 20% chance of rainfall.

Warm weather with some isolated showers will prevail in Tuguegarao and Laoag with highs of 32 degrees Celsius.

Subic and the Bicol region, meanwhile, will have highs of 30 and 31 degrees.

Weather will be a bit cloudy in Bohol on Friday and there's a big chance that's there's going to be some rainshowers.

In Boracay and Cebu, weather will stay mostly sunny at 30 degrees with only a slim chance of light passing showers.

Warm and sunny weather will also prevail for those staying in Tacloban.

Down south, Mindanao will have a mix of sun and clouds plus isolated rains especially over the western sections of the region. -- Report from Bettina Magsaysay, ANC
