Globe's network facilities were adversely affected by flooding and power outages caused by typhoon Ondoy. Consequently, many of our subscribers especially in the Greater Manila Area and Rizal had weak or no signal on their mobile phones.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and we assure the public that our technical teams have been working round the clock to fully restore our services. As of 3pm today 99% of affected facilities are back online
and we expect 100% restoration very soon.
As Globe's humble contribution to the efforts of the NTC, NDCC, and the National Government to prepare for typhoon Pepeng and to further help our people in these difficult times, we are reducing rates for domestic mobile voice calls (Globe-to-Globe, TM-to-TM, Globe - to - TM) to 3 pesos a minute beginning 12:01am October 3 up to 11:59pm October 4.
No special dialing procedure procedure will be required to avail of the PHP3.00 per minute rate, just dial directly as you would when making a regular mobile voice call.
